Silverman-Anderson Score
Neonatal Respiratory Distress Assessment
The Silverman-Anderson Score (SAS) is a clinical tool used to assess the degree of respiratory distress in newborns, assigning scores to different signs to determine the severity of the condition. The total sum (from 0 to 10) indicates the level of distress.
