PELOD Scale
Pediatric Logistic Organ Dysfunction
The PELOD Scale (Pediatric Logistic Organ Dysfunction) is a tool for assessing organ failure in children, mainly used in pediatric intensive care units (PICU). It quantifies multiple organ dysfunction, helping to predict severity and mortality risk.
Important: This is a simplified version for educational purposes and does not replace the full application of the PELOD scale or clinical judgment.
