Assessment of Patient's Physical Status

The ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) classification is a protocol established by the anesthesiologist during the pre-anesthetic consultation. It is the nursing team's responsibility to be aware of the ASA risk level and be prepared for complex situations that require skill and quality in patient care in the operating room.
